Carolyn Charest, MC, R.Psych, is the founder of Wellflow, a practice dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with warmth, clarity, and strategies grounded in psychological science. A Registered Psychologist licensed in both British Columbia and Alberta, Carolyn brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples and families in building resilience, strengthening relationships, and rediscovering a sense of purpose and well-being.

Carolyn’s professional journey reflects her deep commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in care. She earned a Master of Counselling degree and has continued to expand her expertise through advanced clinical training and ongoing professional development. Her career spans a variety of settings—including private practice, community mental health programs, and organizational settings—giving her a nuanced understanding of the diverse emotional and practical challenges people face at different stages of life.

Over the years, Carolyn has developed particular expertise in specialized areas such as addictions, eating disorders, relationship dynamics, and executive coaching. This unique combination of experience enables her to approach therapy with both clinical precision and a holistic perspective, allowing her to design individualized strategies that promote meaningful change, lasting growth, and sustainable lifestyle improvements that align with each client’s values and goals.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples work. Carolyn has a special interest in women’s mental health, mood disorders, and stress management, with a focus on helping clients achieve balance and clarity in fast-paced, demanding environments.

Beyond addressing symptoms, Carolyn is passionate about whole-person health and performance—supporting clients in making practical, lasting changes that improve their emotional, relational, and physical well-being. Clients consistently describe her approach as grounded, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe, supportive environment for reflection, insight, and transformation.
