Biography
Whether you are managing anxiety, low self-esteem, difficult family dynamics, health issues or something else, reaching out for assistance is an investment in yourself. I aim to help you find balance through facilitating the development of coping skills to help you move forward with your life while managing its challenges. My approach is tailored to your specific situation, comfort level, preferences and personal goals, both short and long term. I believe that meaningful exploration and recognition of feelings, thoughts, behaviors and relationships will lead to improved emotional well-being.
A large portion of my practice focuses on clients living with Diabetes. Diabetes can be stressful, both for the individual living with it as well as their families. As a mother of a child living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), I have a deep, personal understanding of the mental health challenges that are so often a part of life with Diabetes.
It can be a struggle to manage Diabetes while navigating the rest of your life. Whatever you are experiencing, I believe that talking with a professional who has experience in the world of Diabetes can help. Feeling a sense of connection and community when it comes to dealing with a chronic illness is invaluable. I believe you deserve to not only survive, but thrive living with Diabetes.
